Chained LOG IN
The charger VE.Can SmartSolar has data path ports. Thanks to this feature it can be in contact with other VE.Can SmartSolar chargers. Additional units are connected together in a “chain link” via a single RJ45 cable that is between individual units. They can also send their data to a GX detector via a single cable.
Remotely control and monitor the extensive capabilities of your MPPT charger by connecting a Bluetooth dongle and pairing with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app. Having your facility connected to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) web portal will provide access to the full power of your MPPT anytime, anywhere – both services are free to use.
For remote installations – even if there is no internet connection or phone signal nearby – you may be able to monitor your MPPT device via Bluetooth pairing with a LoRaWAN (long range wide area network) device, which is available as an option.
By adding the SmartSolar color screen you will be able to check at a glance the status of your charger and the storage of energy in the battery. Just plug it into the front of your MPPT charger for real-time monitoring and settings.

The SmartSolar MPPT 250/85 VE.Can charger can be remotely controlled and configured via Bluetooth via the VictronConnect app. This enables setup, device management and at-a-glance information such as battery voltage and current, PV voltage and current and history data.
Additional Daisy Chain units
VE.Can SmartSolar chargers are equipped with CAN bus ports. This allows communication with additional VE.Can SmartSolar chargers. Additional modules are simply 'chained' together with a single RJ45 cable between the individual modules.
When connected together, all individual Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/85-Tr VE.Can SmartSolar chargers will synchronize their charging stages. They can also send their data, via a single cable, to a GX monitor.

If the GX device is connected to the Internet, Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/85-Tr the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your solar charger(s).

SmartSolar The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is equipped with a VE.Direct port like other MPPT solar chargers. This port can be for single unit monitoring or street lighting control. The remote control on/off jack can be controlled externally by a third-party device such as a lithium battery.
