Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 48/15000 / 200-100 Pure Sine Inverter:
MultiPlus-II combines the functions of MultiPlus and MultiGrid.
It has all its features MultiPlus, as well as an external power transformer option for PowerControl and PowerAssist application and optimization of self-consumption with external current detection (max. 32A).
It also has all the features of MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an ever-growing list of country approvals.

It also has all the features of MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an ever-growing list of country approvals.

Power control and power assist - Boost the capacity of the network or a generator
The MultiPlus-II will prevent overloading of a limited AC source, such as a generator or mains connection. First, the battery charge will automatically decrease when it is otherwise overcharged. The second level will enhance the power of a generator or power supply on the land side with battery power.
Maximum mains or generator current can be set. The MultiPlus-II will then take into account other AC loads and use what is extra to charge the battery, thus preventing the generator or mains from overloading (PowerControl mode).
PowerAssist takes the PowerControl principle to a further dimension. Where maximum power is required so often only for a limited time, the MultiPlus-II will compensate for insufficient power of the generator, the mains or the mains with battery power. When the load is reduced, the backup power is used to recharge the battery.
PowerAssist
The MultiPlus-II will prevent overloading of a limited capacity AC source, such as a generator or a boat or vehicle external power connection. In the first phase, it automatically reduces the battery charge when otherwise it would overload. In the second level it amplifies the output of a generator or a mains power supply from the battery.
ESS (Energy Storage System) operation
MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, providing the flexibility to combine with MPPT solar chargers or PV array converters. It is a multifunctional converter / charger with all the features of MultiPlus, as well as an optional external current sensor that extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist function to 50A instead. 100A. The MultiPlus-II is ideally suited for professional shipping, yachts, vehicles and offline applications. It also has a built-in anti-island function and an increasingly long list of country approvals for ESS implementation. Many system configurations are possible.
Uninterruptible power supply (UPS mode)
In the event of a mains failure or when the power is disconnected from the mains or the generator, the inverter in the Multi is activated automatically and takes over the power supply of the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. MultiPlus-II can be used in off-grid as well as grid-connected photovoltaic and other alternative energy systems. It is compatible with both solar chargers and mains converters.
Almost unlimited power thanks to the parallel and three-phase operation.
Up to 6 Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher output power. Six 48/5000/70 units, for example, will give an output power of 25 kW / 30 kVA and a load capacity of 420 amps. In addition to the parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output. But that's not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be connected in parallel to provide a 75kW / 90 kVA power converter with more than 1200 amps of capacity.
Configuration, monitoring and control of the on-site system
Settings can be changed in minutes with VEConfigure software (requires PC or laptop and MK3-USB interface). There are several monitoring and control options available: Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, Laptop, Computer, bluetooth (with optional backpack VE. Smart Bus), Battery Monitor, Digital Multi Control Panel.
