Phoenix 24/250 VE.Direct NEMA 5-15R

Fully programmable Victron inverters, developed for professional use. The Phoenix range of inverters is suitable for the widest range of applications. The design criteria were to produce a pure sine inverter with optimized efficiency but no performance compromises. Using HF hybrid technology, the result is an excellent quality product with compact dimensions, light in weight and able to provide power, without problems, to any load.

Victron's small range of inverters continues to use the proven full bridge toroidal transformer solution. The new series however has a new casing, new electronics and new software. The units consist of a steel frame with a plastic cover, while the electronic management of the inverters provides improved dynamic output voltage stability. Last but not least is the range of communication options and feature customization that Victron offers using VE.Direct software.

The door communication VE.Direct can be connected to:

 

• Computer (VE.Direct with cable USB required)
• Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices (required VE.DirectBluetooth Smart dongle)

 

Fully customizable:

 

  • Battery low voltage audible warning
  • Disconnect in case of very low battery voltage (cut-off)
  • Dynamic cut-off: the cut-off level depends on the load
  • Output voltage 210 - 245V
  • Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
  • ECO operation on / off

 

Supervision
Monitoring the input / output voltage and current and warning signal in case of error

 

Proven reliability:
The complete bridge and toroidal transformer topology have proven their reliability for many years. Inverters are protected against short circuits and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.

 

High starting power 
Required to start loads, such as power converters for LED bulbs, halogen bulbs or power tools.

 

ECO function: 
During ECO operation, the inverter will enter standby mode when the load drops below a preset value. In standby mode, the inverter will light up for a short time (adjustable, with a default of 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a predetermined level, the inverter will remain open.

 

Remote On / Off:
Possibility of remote control of the operation with the installation of a suitable switch.

  • Low voltage alarm trip and reset levels
  • Low voltage cut-off and restart levels
  • Dynamic cut-off: load dependent cut-off level

The Victron Phoenix 48/250 VE.Direct (MPN PIN482510200) is a small sinusoidal inverter with a constant output of 200W. Converts 48V DC to 230V AC with pure sine wave, suitable for supply even to sensitive electronic devices. Its level of performance is very high and thanks to the integrated Eco-Mode function one of the best in this category.

Through the VE.Direct communication port and optional equipment it is possible to connect the inverter to a computer or smartphone that allows the configuration of various system parameters, such as the switch on and off the voltage at low battery charge. Other settings such as output frequency or voltage, as well as a bipolar contact-alarm are just some of the features of this converter.
