Using the latest and fastest technology, the MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger converts the energy from the solar panel into energy that can charge the battery module ideally. By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every last drop of available energy in the panels is harnessed for storage. This benefit is most apparent when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity is constantly changing. The VE.Can SmartSolar MPPT charger connects to a 150 or 250 Volt Voc PV panel and automatically detects and charges your 12, 24 or 48 V battery at a current between 70 and 100A depending on the model. The charging settings are fully programmable and can also be adapted to different battery structures such as lead-acid and lithium.

 

Remote monitoring and control

Remotely control and monitor the charger's extensive functions BlueSolar MPPT in the following ways:

  • Bluetooth smart dongle (not included) where you can connect your controller via the VictronConnect app from a bluetooth device
  • Via GX device (not included) where via Victron Remote Management (VRM) *GX device requires WIFI network connection
  • Via GlobalLink (not included) where it will bring 4G LTE-M connectivity to all VE.Direct devices

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger can be remotely controlled and configured using Bluetooth via the VictronConnect app. In this way, while providing installation and management of the device, the battery voltage and current, PV voltage and current are presented with an information showing the previous data.

 

Smart function for the output of the load

Internal temperature sensor. Compensates the absorption and float charge voltage for temperature. Optional external detection of voltage, temperature and battery current via Bluetooth. Smart mode prevents damage caused by completely draining batteries.

You can configure the voltage at which BlueSolar disconnects a load, thus preventing excessive discharge of your batteries. BlueSolar will attempt a 100% recharge every day. If this is not possible (during periods of adverse weather conditions) then it increases the disconnection current, daily, until it achieves its goal.

 

SmartSolar Control Screen

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger has a VE.Direct port just like other MPPT solar power chargers. This single port can be used for a single street light monitoring or control unit. The remote on/off connection can be controlled externally by a third-party device, such as a lithium battery. An optional LCD screen/control unit provides live data feed, installation and management information directly from the device screen.
