Single phase reverse Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50-GX 5000W by Victron Energy. It converts direct current (DC) 48V to alternating current (AC) of one phase and allows the powering of electrical and electronic devices from batteries and renewable energy sources such as photovoltaics systems and wind turbines.
The MultiPlus II GX is a powerful pure sine wave inverter and a sophisticated battery charger with adaptive charging technology as well as a high-speed AC transfer switch, all in a solid metal chassis. It has all the functions of the MultiPlus and has the option for an external current sensor (sold separately) which extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions. The GX version comes with a built-in display and GX device as well as network and WiFi connectivity.
How does voltage regulation work?
Voltage regulation is a process by which the voltage of an alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) electrical power source is maintained at a constant value. The voltage regulator can be a component of the power source, such as a transformer, or it can be a separate device.
The three main types of voltage regulators are linear voltage regulators, switch mode voltage regulators and zener diode voltage regulators. Linear voltage regulators work by using a variable resistor to control the amount of current flowing through the regulator. Switching mode voltage regulators use electronic switches to regulate current flow. Zener diode voltage regulators work by allowing only enough current to flow through the regulator to maintain the desired voltage.

Victron ECOMulti
This is a compact, single box solution which contains a 3kva inverter and 2.3kwh lithium Ion battery. This contains a 50A transfer relay and connects inline between your supply grid and your PV inverter + protected loads.
The main advantage of this is its simple installation and simple operation. However while compact and easy to install… there are no limits in its functionality.
Its main operation is to charge its internal battery from surplus power from the PV system during the day. At night, the ECOMulti disconnects from the grid and runs from battery. If the power requirements are too high, or the battery runs low, then it reconnects to the grid.

The MultiPlus range of bidirectional converters is the worldwide product of choice on boats and vehicles to generate AC power, and to recharge batteries, either with shore power or an onboard AC generator.
The MultiPlus is also the industry standard in on-grid and off-grid energy storage systems and is approved for use in energy storage and self-consumption systems in the UK (G83 / 2 and G59-3-1 standards).
Several hardware and firmware modifications were needed to qualify for VDE-AR-N 4105 and other country specific energy storage related standards.
