Autonomous photovoltaic system for refrigerator 12V / 65watt - 75 watts
Autonomous photovoltaic kit / package for small refrigerator 65-75 watt / 12V or 220V by adding inverter
Installation for the Victron Lithium SuperPack 12,8V/20Ah (M5) battery is very easy and no additional parts are required.
Available on backorder
The Victron Lithium SuperPack 12,8V/20Ah (M5) battery has a built-in BMS and safety switch.
SuperPack batteries are very easy to install, no additional components required.
The internal switch will disconnect her connection battery in case of excessive discharge, overload or high temperature.
The Victron Lithium SuperPack 12,8V/20Ah (M5) battery can be connected in parallel. But serial connection is not allowed.
Built-in BMS and safety switch
SuperPack batteries are extremely easy to install, with no additional components required.
The internal switch will disconnect the battery in case of overcharging, overcharging or high temperature.
Proof of abuse
A lead-acid battery will fail prematurely due to sulfation:
If operating in a deficit mode for long periods of time (ie if the battery is rarely or never fully charged).
If left partially charged or worse, fully discharged.
A lithium-ion battery does not need to be fully charged. Lifetime is even slightly improved on a partial charge instead of a full charge. This is a major advantage of Li-ion compared to lead-acid.
SuperPack batteries will cut off charging or discharging current when the maximum ratings are exceeded.
Efficient
In many applications (especially off-grid solar), energy efficiency can be critical.
The round-trip energy efficiency (discharging from 100% to 0% and returning to 100% charged) of the average lead-acid battery is 80%.
The round trip energy efficiency of a Li-ion battery is 92%.
The charging process of lead-acid batteries becomes particularly inefficient when the 80% state of charge is reached, resulting in efficiencies of 50% or even less in solar systems where several days of backup power are required (battery operating at 70% to 100% charged state ).
In contrast, a Li-ion battery will still achieve 90% efficiency even under shallow discharge conditions.
Can be connected in parallel
Batteries can be connected in parallel. Serial connection is not allowed. Use only in an upright position.
