Battery Victron 12V/165Ah AGM Deep Cycle (M8) photovoltaic closed type deep discharge of the company Victron Energy. Is provided with flat copper poles and M8 pins, which ensures the best possible connection contact and eliminates the need for battery terminals.

Deep Cycle batteries are designed to withstand repeated discharge/charge cycles gradually using almost all of the battery's capacity.

This is an AGM battery and is used where high cranking amperage is required. In case the battery breaks, there is no free liquid to leak out. This makes AGM batteries extremely safe.

Sealed (VRLA) AGM Batteries
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed into a layer of glass fibers between the plates by capillary action. AGM batteries are more suitable for short-term delivery of high currents than gel batteries.

Technology
VRLA VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid, which means the batteries are sealed. The gas will escape through the safety valves only in case of overload or cell failure. VRLA batteries are maintenance free for life.

Low self-discharge
Due to the use of lead calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for long periods of time without recharging. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. Self-discharge doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature. Victron VRLA batteries can therefore be stored for up to a year without recharging if kept in cool conditions.
The AGM series batteries have very low internal resistance, making them particularly suitable for high current discharge applications such as inverters, thrusters and winches.

The use of high-purity materials and lead-calcium grids ensure that AGM and GEL batteries have a particularly low self-discharge, so that they cannot be left standing for long periods of time without charging.

The batteries are supplied with M8 perforated flat copper terminals, ensuring the best possible connection contact and eliminating the need for battery terminals.

The batteries are CE and UL compliant in fireproof ABS containers and come with a 2-year Victron worldwide warranty.
