The Studer Xtender converter is the ideal solution for complex hybrid systems. It can be adapted and connected to PV panels, small wind turbines, diesel generators and even the public electricity grid, regardless of whether it operates as a single-phase or three-phase converter. The Xtender Studer Converter offers a device all the functions of a sinusoidal converter, a battery charger and a transfer system. The battery charger charges the batteries up to 5 stages ensuring their proper operation. The Studer Xtender converter can be connected to single-phase or three-phase wiring delivering up to 63kVA of power. By adding the optional control and data logging system the system delivers maximum performance and optimizes the operation of the hybrid system. Victron ECOMulti
This is a compact, single box solution which contains a 3kva inverter and 2.3kwh lithium Ion battery. This contains a 50A transfer relay and connects inline between your supply grid and your PV inverter + protected loads.
The main advantage of this is its simple installation and simple operation. However while compact and easy to install… there are no limits in its functionality.
Its main operation is to charge its internal battery from surplus power from the PV system during the day. At night, the ECOMulti disconnects from the grid and runs from battery. If the power requirements are too high, or the battery runs low, then it reconnects to the grid.

The Victron Energy Phoenix series are pure sine converters, top quality construction and very high efficiency.
