Sand and mud Tolerance
The pump (HR) has a higher resistance to wear than sand and clay than any other type of pump. In properly constructed wells the amount of sand and clay is within the tolerance limits of the pump.
A solids concentration of more than 2% (by volume) can cause the pump or fall pipe to become clogged, especially at low flow rates.
Do not use the pump to clean a dirty well.
Pump cable and Splice
Standard submarine cable, 3-wire + + (four cables in total). Connection to the pump is made using industry standard splicing methods.
