EPSOLAR XTRA3415N CHARGE REGULATOR 30A/48V

  • Epsolar charger suitable for installations up to 30A at 24V. This is MPPT type. MPPT Charge Controllers determine the appropriate charge levels of the batteries providing little loss in their actual performance. Compared to PWMs that distribute about 80% of the generated energy of the PV Panel to the batteries, the remaining energy of about 20% is lost because simple PWM charge controllers do not detect the maximum power point of the PV panel. Also, the intelligent functions of an MPPT regulator in terms of charging and equalization of the batteries, guarantee a better charging and maintenance of them, resulting in the extension of their lifetime. Based on the above, MPPT charge controllers are ideal for larger systems where additional energy harvesting of 20% or more is worthwhile and for situations where the solar array voltage is significantly higher than the battery voltage, e.g. using house panels.

The XTRA(10A~40A) series are upgraded MPPT charge controllers for stand-alone PV systems, with optional imaging modules (XDB1/XDS1/XDS2). They are regulators designed according to international standards, with increased quality, reliability and safety. The function of limiting charging power, charging current and automatic power reduction function fully ensure the stability when working with oversized PV modules (max. 1,5 times the rated power) and operating in high temperature environment.

The line XTRA-N can display various display modules (XDB1 / XDS1 / XDS2).

With the MPPT (Max Power Point Tracking) the full power of your solar modules is used optimally.

The XTRA regulator has a protection function for maximum charging current, as well as an automatic power degradation function at high temperatures. The above protection ensures the stability of the system even in exceeding PV rated power and temperature conditions.

XTRA regulators incorporate a self-adaptive three-stage charging algorithm based on a digital control circuit, which effectively extends battery life and significantly improves system performance. It also has extensive electronic protection for overload and reverse battery polarity to ensure the viability and durability of the autonomous system (Off-Grid).
