This series of Victron inverters was developed to professional specifications and is the right tool for a wide range of applications. The design criteria of this series were the production of a real sine wave with optimized performance, but without compromising on performance.
Using new high frequency switching hybrid technology, the result is a top quality inverter, compact, lightweight and capable of delivering power smoothly at any load.
A unique feature of SinusMax technology is the very high boot power. Conventional high frequency technology does not offer such high performance. The professional Phoenix series inverters, however, can power demanding loads such as refrigeration compressors, electric motors and similar appliances.
Almost unlimited power thanks to the ability to parallelize the inverters and support a three-phase system.
Up to 6 inverters can operate in parallel to achieve higher power efficiency. For example, six 24/5000 parallel inverters can provide 24kW / 30kVA output power, with support and three-phase operation.
If an automatic transfer switch is required, it is recommended to use the MultiPlus inverter / charger instead. The switch is included in these models while the charging function of MultiPlus can be deactivated.
This switch provides a very short transition time (less than 20 milliseconds) so as not to interrupt the power supply to computers or other electronic devices.
All series have an RS-485 port. All it takes to connect to your computer is the MK2 (accessory) interface. This interface offers galvanic isolation between the inverter and the computer and converts the RS-485 port to an RS-232. An RS-232 to USB conversion cable is also available as an accessory in this series.
Together with the VEConfigure software, which you can download for free from the company website, all the inverter operating parameters can be adjusted according to the desired function. This includes output voltage and frequency, allowing the voltage to be set to higher or lower levels than the nominal ones, as well as relay programming.
The relay can, for example, be used to detect various hazards, or to start a generator. The inverters can also be connected to Venet, Victron Energy's new power control network, or to other electronic monitoring and control systems.
