The all-in-one solar energy solution
The EasySolar-II GX combines an MPPT solar charge controller, inverter/charger and control hub in one housing. The product is easy to install, with minimal wiring.
The Victron EasySolar-II GX incorporates the following components:
• A MultiPlus-II converter/charger
• A SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controller -Tr
• A GX device with a 2 x 16 character screen.
These elements are pre-joined together into a single unit. This greatly simplifies most installations, saving time and money.
Screen and wifi
The display reads battery, inverter and solar charge controller parameters.
You can access the same settings with a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device.
In addition, wifi can be used to configure the system and change settings.
Solar charge controller
The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is wired in parallel with the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II inverter/charger.
The MultiPlus-II on / off mechanism also controls the SmartSolar MPPT.
GX device
The built-in GX device includes:
• A BMS-Can interface. This can be used to connect to a compatible managed battery CAN-bus. Note that this is not a VE.Can compatible port.
• USB port
• Ethernet port
• VE.Direct port
The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and the SmartSolar MPPT with VE.Bus and VE.Direct connection respectively.
