These devices, in addition to having all the known properties of the "big brother" Sunny Island 5048, with their reduced weight and volume, the new members of the family are easy to operate and install. The high protection class IP54 and the removable control unit Sunny Remote Control (SRC-1), allow you to freely choose their place of installation. Thanks to the built-in data storage system and the ability to update the software via SD memory card, the Sunny Island converter offers the user additional ease of use and maintenance. The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC power supplies, for example to one ground power source and one generator, or to two generators. The Quattro automatically connects to the active power source.
Two AC outputs
The main output operates as an uninterruptible power supply. The Quattro takes over the power supply of the connected loads in case of failure in the network or when the main power supply / generator is disconnected. This happens almost instantly (in less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic devices can continue to run without interruption. The second output is only active when the main AC power supply is available at one of the Quattro inputs. In this way, loads that should not be supplied by the battery in an emergency, such as e.g. a water heater, can be connected to this output.
