Epsolar Epsolar DuoRacer MPPT 24V 20A Charge Controller

Epsolar Epsolar DuoRacer MPPT 24V 20A Charge Controller: The DuoRacer MPPT charge controller is designed to charge two batteries (shown as BATT1 and BATT2 below) simultaneously in a solar system. This controller supports multiple battery types. Including Sealed, Gel, Flooded, LiFePO4 and Li-Ni,CoMn, which is suitable for RV, Camper, Boat and so on. The device recognizes the battery system voltage (BATT2) automatically and charges the battery when the conditions are met.

The controller adopts the advanced MPPT control algorithm, which will minimize the maximum power loss rate and time loss, also quickly realizes the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV array and delivers the maximum power from the solar array under any conditions .

Energy usage in MPPT solar system increases by 20-30% compared to PWM charging method.
When there is no manual operation for a long time and the charging conditions cannot be reached, the controller will turn to low power mode, which reduces the loss and waste of battery power to improve the service life of the products.

Technical Features Epsolar DuoRacer MPPT 24V 20A Charge Controller:

The system parameters are set by the LED / LCD screen or the MT11 remote meter (Accessory).
The AES control signal of the car refrigerator is built into the controller, which will supply the excess solar energy to the refrigerator to avoid wasting energy.

The controller has an IP33 protection level, which is waterproof and dustproof. Multiple protection features, such as battery overcharge protection, discharge protection and reverse connection protection of PV and battery, which effectively ensures the safety, stability and life of the solar system.

Electronic protections:

· Short circuit protection on the photovoltaic side.
·Discharge.
·Overload.
· Overload protection.
· Short circuit protection in loads.
·From reverse polarity photovoltaics.
· Protection against incorrect battery polarity connection.

What is a PV charge controller?

It is an important element in any photovoltaic system, as it helps to avoid overcharging the batteries and protects against current surges. In general, there are two main types of solar charge controllers: PWM (pulse width modulation) and MPPT (maximum power point tracker).

MPPT Solar Charge Controller

An MPPT solar charge controller is the most efficient type of solar charge controller on the market. It stands for “maximum power point tracking” and basically means that the regulator is constantly looking for the optimal operating voltage of your solar panel(s). This results in up to 30% more efficiency than a standard solar charge controller.

An MPPT solar charge controller is a type of solar charge controller that uses Peak Power Monitoring to optimize the power output of your solar panel system. MPPT solar charge controllers are more efficient than traditional PWM solar charge controllers and can increase the total power output of your solar system by up to 30%.

There are two main types of solar charge controllers: voltage discharge and current discharge. Voltage discharge regulators work by regulating the voltage of the solar battery, while current discharge regulators regulate the current.

Step-down regulators are the most common type of regulator used in solar power systems. They are usually used in systems that have batteries of 12 volts or less. These regulators work by monitoring the battery voltage and then shut down the charging process when the voltage reaches a certain level. This prevents overcharging and damage to the battery.

Current discharge regulators are not as common as voltage discharge regulators. They can be used in systems with higher voltages. These regulators work by monitoring the current flowing into the battery and then shut down the charging process when the current reaches a certain level. This prevents material damage to the battery from overcharging.

•Battery temperature sensor
•CE certification
•Two (2) years warranty
•Electronic protection

PWM charge controller

This type of regulator works well for single battery arrays or small systems where you have a small number of solar panels and batteries connected in series. They are fairly low cost and easy to install, but don't provide as much feedback as others.

PWM (pulse width modulation) charge controllers are the most common type of solar charge controller on the market. They are usually more affordable than other types of charge regulators. They are also very efficient, making them a good choice for most applications. PWM charge regulators work by regulating the voltage and current from the solar panel to the battery, ensuring that the battery is not damaged by overcharging.

Conclusions:

Solar charge controllers are devices that regulate the flow of electricity from a solar panel to a battery. They are a key component in any solar power system. They help ensure that batteries are not damaged by overcharging. Charge controllers also help maximize the efficiency of the solar system by regulating the voltage and current from the solar panels. The number of solar controllers will depend on the number of panels you have connected and whether or not you are using different types of batteries.

Solar charge controllers are an essential part of any solar power system. They are used to regulate the charging of the batteries and to protect the batteries from overcharging.

There are two main types of solar charge controllers: PWM and MPPT. Regarding the different types of solar charge controllers available in the market, each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

After reading this article, you should now have a good understanding of the different types of solar charge controllers available in the market. With this knowledge, you can make an informed decision about the type of regulator that best suits your needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
