The small series of Victron inverters continues to use the proven solution of the complete bridge with a toroidal transformer. The new series, however, has a new casing, new electronics and new software.
The Phoenix range of Victron inverters is suitable for the widest range of applications. The design criteria were to produce a pure sine inverter with optimized efficiency but no performance compromises. Using HF hybrid technology, the result is an excellent quality product with compact dimensions, light in weight and able to provide power, without problems, to any load.
The units consist of a steel frame with a plastic cover, while the electronic management of the inverters provides improved dynamic stability of the output voltage. Last but not least is the range of communication and feature configuration options offered by Victron using VE.Direct software.
The VE.Direct communication port can be connected to:
- Computer (VE.Direct with USB cable required)
- Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices (requires VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle)

- Battery low voltage audible warning
- Disconnect in case of very low battery voltage (cut-off)
- Dynamic cut-off: the cut-off level depends on the load

Proven reliability:
The complete bridge and toroidal transformer topology have proven their reliability for many years. Inverters are protected against short circuits and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High starting power
Required to start loads, such as power converters for LED bulbs, halogen bulbs or power tools.
ECO function:
During ECO operation, the inverter will go into standby mode when the load drops below a preset value. In standby mode, the inverter will light up for a short time (adjustable, with a default of 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a predetermined level, the inverter will remain open.
Remote On / Off:
Possibility of remote control of the operation with the installation of a suitable switch.

The Victron Phoenix 48/250 VE.Direct (MPN PIN482510200) is a small sinusoidal inverter with a constant output of 200W. Converts 48V DC to 230V AC with pure sine wave, suitable for supply even to sensitive electronic devices. This is a compact, single box solution which contains a 3kva inverter and 2.3kwh lithium Ion battery. This contains a 50A transfer relay and connects inline between your supply grid and your PV inverter + protected loads.
The main advantage of this is its simple installation and simple operation. However while compact and easy to install… there are no limits in its functionality.
Its main operation is to charge its internal battery from surplus power from the PV system during the day. At night, the ECOMulti disconnects from the grid and runs from battery. If the power requirements are too high, or the battery runs low, then it reconnects to the grid.

Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC power supplies, for example to one ground power source and one generator, or to two generators. The Quattro automatically connects to the active power source.
Two AC outputs
The main output operates as an uninterruptible power supply. The Quattro takes over the power supply of the connected loads in case of failure in the network or when the main power supply / generator is disconnected. This happens almost instantly (in less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic devices can continue to run without interruption. The second output is only active when the main AC power supply is available at one of the Quattro inputs. In this way, loads that should not be supplied by the battery in an emergency, such as e.g. a water heater, can be connected to this output.
