The IEC/EN61215 and IEC/EN61730 certified panels are the updated versions of existing products. The manufacturer increased the power of each by 5 W.

Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp has released three more versions of the solar panels half cut.

The new products, named NU-JC415, NB-JD545 and NU-JD545, are all evolutions of previous products, whose output power has been increased by 5W.

NB-JD545 is its updated version panels NB-JD540 , a double mono PERC glass with an efficiency rating of 20,9% and a power output of 540 W. This product is intended for applications in commercial and industrial projects as well as ground installations. It has an output power of 545 W, an efficiency of 21,1% and a temperature coefficient of -0,349% per C. It is based on 144 half-cut cells based on M10 wafers and is capable of operating at a maximum system voltage of 1.500 V.

It measures 2.278 mm x 1.134 mm x 30 mm and weighs 32,5 kg. "Its high-performance encapsulation film created from a blend of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and polyolefins (PEO) helps prevent potential degradation (PID) affecting the backside of duplex units," the manufacturer said. It comes with a 30-year linear performance warranty and a 15-year product warranty.

The NU-JD545 is the updated version of the NU-JD540, a half-cut monoPERC product with an efficiency rating of 20,9% and an output power of 540 W. The new unit has an efficiency of 21,1%, an output power of 545 W and a temperature factor of - 0,341% per C. It measures 2.278mm x 1.134mm and weighs 27,5kg. The 1.750 mm cable, according to the manufacturer, allows it to be easily placed horizontally or vertically.

NU-JC415 is the updated version of NU-JC410, a half-cut monoPERC product for roof applications. The new 108-bay unit features an efficiency of 21,25%, an output power of 415W and a temperature coefficient of -0,341% per C. It weighs 20,7kg and measures 1.722 x 1.134mm.

All products are based on a 10-bar design and have three small junction boxes instead of one, all equipped with a bypass diode. The units are all certified to IEC/EN61215 and IEC/EN61730.
