Photovoltaic program on roofs 2022-2023 up to 6kW

Photovoltaic program on roofs 2022-2023 up to 6kW? By decision of RIS, the Special Development Program was prepared photovoltaic systems up to 6kWp for household consumption with duration up to 31.

The new program "photovoltaics on the roofs" gives a Decision of the Minister of Environment and Energy, K. Skreka, which was published on Friday, December 31, in a newspaper of the Government. The Ministerial Decision, the issuance of which was provided by the relevant regulation of RIS, fully describes the conditions under which the program will be implemented.

2022-2023 Rooftop Photovoltaic Program up to 6kW: The Program concerns photovoltaic systems for the production of energy that is injected into the Grid, which are installed on buildings (on the roof or the roof of a building, including the canopies of terraces, facades and shades, as defined in articles 16 and 19 of Law 4067/2012, as applicable, as well as auxiliary areas of the building, such as warehouses and parking areas, as defined in par. 96 of article 2 of the same law) or on the ground, as well as in systems solar tracking systems that are installed on the ground.

Natural persons, non-tradesmen, have the possibility of inclusion. At the same time, they must either own the space in which the production station is located or have its legal use (eg through lease, free concession, etc.) and already have at the time of submitting the relevant application to join the Program ensure the written consent of the site owner.

Eligibility and conditions for joining the Photovoltaic Program on roofs 2022-2023 up to 6kW

The right to join the Program has natural persons who are not entrepreneurs who either own the space where the production station is located or have its legal use (eg through lease, free concession, etc.) and already have during the time of submission of the relevant application for inclusion in the Program ensure the written consent of the site owner.

Start of applications by the end of March 2022

The first subscriptions to the program will begin around the end of March, when HEDNO will start accepting applications for the connection of photovoltaic systems to the network. The Administrator will post on his website the application process within one month from the entry into force of the Ministerial Decision, while he will start accepting applications within two months.

In the case of a photovoltaic system in a common or communal area of a building, the installation of one or more systems is allowed, subject to the prior written consent of all co-owners under the provisions of the Civil Code, which is proved by a unanimous decision of the general assembly. or with the written agreement of all the co-owners of the building, under the responsibility of the interested parties. The owners of the horizontal properties are eligible to join the Program, represented by the administrator or one of the owners of the horizontal properties after the concession of the use of the common or shared space by the other co-owners. The condition is the agreement of all the co-owners, which is proved by the minutes of the unanimous decision of the general meeting or with the written agreement of all the co-owners of the building, under the responsibility of the interested parties.

Part of the thermal needs for hot water use of its owner's property photovoltaic should be covered by the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar thermal water heaters, solar water heaters.

Prerequisite and condition for the inclusion of a photovoltaic system in the Program is the non-existence of public support within the framework of the Development-Investment Law, as it always applies, of the financing actions co-financed by the European Union (eg within the NSRF OP) and in general any other funding program.

Depreciation in 8-9 years

According to the current prices of photovoltaics, for photovoltaic power 6 kWp, the tariff is 87 euros per megawatt hour. This means an annual income of about 700 euros. At the moment the cost of such a system amounts to 5.500 to 6.500 euros (including VAT).

Therefore, the amortization is expected in about 8-9 years. From there on, ie for about 11-12 years, the owner of the photovoltaic roof will have an annual income of 700 euros, for the remainder of the contract.
