FoxEss has released new inverters with power ratings ranging from 0,7kW to 3,3kW, a maximum efficiency rating of 97,4% and a maximum European efficiency of 96,8%. Their dimensions are 290 mm x 220 mm x 116 mm and they weigh 5,4 kg.

FoxEss has unveiled its new S-G2 series converters grid-connected for home applications.

The Chinese manufacturer converters said the 3,3 kW inverters may be the "smallest" in the world.

“Due to the exceptional design dimensions, the converter is extremely light. The net weight of the entire machine is only 5,4 kg, which is lighter than the majority of inverters on the market,” said a company representative. “It can be easily operated with one hand, which makes it convenient to transport and install.”

The company offers seven versions of transformerless devices, with rated power ranging from 0,7 kW to 3,3 kW. Their efficiency ratings range from 97,2% to 97,4%, with European efficiency ratings of 96,5% to 96,8%.

The maximum input voltage is 500 V and the MPPT voltage range is between 50 V and 480 V. The inverters also have IP65 protection and have cooling systems based on natural convection.

“The inverter has high energy density, high input current, low starting voltage and wide voltage range that make it an ideal match for the PV modules on the market. The S-G2 inverter has a wide range of settings for use, making it suitable for a variety of smaller domestic projects,” said the spokesperson.

The inverters offer a starting voltage of 60V, which reportedly ensures longer working times and optimal use of the PVs.
