The manufacturing company Bslbatt from China has presented a lithium-ion cell battery that can be used for off-grid solar energy storage. The device has a storage capacity ranging from 5,1 to 30,7 kWh. And it claims to provide stable operation for up to 6.000 charge cycles.

The new cell battery is called the BSL Box and is described by the company as a low voltage device. With a storage capacity of 5,12 kWh that can be expanded reaching a capacity of up to 30,72 kWh. The battery has internal connectors that eliminate the need for cable connections. All external cables can be integrated into one plug. Which the manufacturer claims makes it easier to connect to the inverter. The battery is claimed to provide stable operation for up to 6.000 charge cycles.
"This new battery system has a lifespan of over 10 years. In terms of compatibility, the BSL Box battery system can be used with well-known inverters such as Victron, Growatt, SMA, Studer, Fronius, Deye and Goodwe,” the company said in a statement. “An additional feature is that the BSL Box when communicating with the inverter allows closer control of the battery. It also has the ability to look up battery data over the internet.”
The company claims that the battery can help smooth out peak consumption. "After installation, users can continuously monitor the consumption of solar panels and batteries through an app," he also explained. "In short, thanks to the BSL Box, self-consumption can quickly increase by 30%, thus saving energy costs."
