Longi announces new 415W solar panel for residential and commercial applications

Longi introduced a new 54-cell unit at RE+ Anaheim last week, with outputs ranging up to 415W and an efficiency rating of 21,3%.
Longi presented a new solar panel for residential and commercial applications in the USA. It will be available in early 2023, initially as a single-sided unit, followed by an offering of double-sided units.
The 5-cell Hi-MO54 module is built with new M10 182mm monocrystalline wafers. The unit has outputs of up to 415 W and a maximum efficiency of 21,3%.
The Hi-MO5 series has been shipped to more than 600 customers in more than 90 countries, with cumulative shipments of over 30 GW. The new 54-cell version is tailored for home applications.
The advanced PERC gallium-doped p-type half-cut cell module is backed by a 12-year materials and workmanship warranty and a 25-year linear power output warranty. The double-sided version will feature a double-pane design, with a 12-year warranty and a 30-year linear power manufacturing warranty.
“We have had strong customer interest in the new 5-cell Hi-MO54 unit. Since its bigger brother, the 5-cell Hi-MO72 module is our best-selling product for the US utility sector, we expect very high demand for the new format,” said Aaron Thurlow, head of distributed generation at Longi Solar North America. "Longi's complete work of advanced M10 technology, integrated manufacturing and economic strength are behind the Hi-MO5 54-cell product, making it one of the most promising next-generation solar products that Longi has brought to the US market until today."
Longi is one of the largest companies solar technology in the world with integrated technology and with a capitalization of 8,24 billion dollars. It claims to have supplied more than 70 GW of solar panels and 38,5 GW of solar panels worldwide in 2021.
