India's Mecwin has announced 1.100 VA and 2.100 VA wall-mountable lithium battery inverters. The 1.100 VA devices measure 455mm x 530mm x 235mm and weigh 23kg. The built-in batteries can be charged by mains and solar energy.

Mecwin launches its new Li Power Lite series of wall-mountable lithium battery inverters. The all-in-one systems are available in 1.100 VA and 2.100 VA, with operating voltages of 12,8 V and 25,6 V, respectively.

The system's built-in lithium batteries (LFP) can be charged with both solar power as well as with an electrical network.

"Since this is a hybrid version, it will automatically select the solar energy source first for battery charging and load support during the day, which reduces the energy consumption for battery charging and saves electricity costs for our users" , the company said. “This inverter also has a built-in battery management system that helps keep each cell in a healthy state and improves the life of LFP batteries.”

Lakshmi Narayana Pacha, the CMO of Mecwin India, noted that tubular [lead-acid] batteries are widely used in India for inverter applications.

"These batteries are unsafe due to acid leakage and require frequent maintenance and a lot of space," Pacha said. "The Mecwin Li Power Lite series is wall-mounted, zero-maintenance and ultra-safe with its built-in BMS."

The system supports AC loads such as computers, lights, fans, TVs, routers and printers. Recommended for individual homes, farmhouses, retail stores, restaurants and internet cafes.

The 1.100 VA model supports an 880 W load and provides two hours of backup power at full load and four hours of backup at 50% load. The 2.100 VA model supports a 1.680 W load and can provide backup power for two hours at full load and four hours at 50% load.

Three panels 330 Wp can be connected to the 1.100 VA system, while the 2.100 VA system can take up to six panels of 330 W each. The 1.100 VA system uses a 4 V, 12,8 Ah LiFePo86 battery with a storage capacity of 1,1 kWh. The 2.100 VA system uses a 4V, 25,6Ah LiFePo86 battery with a storage capacity of 2,2 kWh. The 1.100 VA system measures 455mm x 530mm x 235mm and weighs 23kg.
