Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-MC4 A solar charger collects energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. Using the newest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes energy harvesting and intelligently directs it to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains the health of the batteries by extending their life time.
The SmartSolar charge controller will recharge even a severely depleted battery. It can operate on battery voltage even at 0 V, as long as the cells have not been permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
Victron Energy's Smartsolar mppt 150/100-mc4 (mpn scc010100210), belongs to the latest generation of smart solar controllers from the Dutch premium manufacturer. Ultra-fast power monitoring and automatic detection of power points in case of partial shading are just 2 of the many features of this new class of devices. Devices of classes 150/45tr to 150/100-mc4 are also available as a version with mc4 connections on the solar side of the charge controller instead of screw terminals. In addition, this model dominates parallel operation with other controllers of the same type.
Compared to the series BlueSolar, the Bluetooth module of the Smartsolar family is already built into the controller, which makes the smart dongle unnecessary for this device. Also new is the optionally available LCD display, which can simply be attached to the SmartSolar 150/85-mc4 as required. The screen then provides all the important information about the controller.
Especially in cloudy conditions, when light intensity is constantly changing, an ultra-fast mppt controller improves energy efficiency by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower mppt controllers.
For those who prefer to operate and configure the Smartsolar mppt 150/100-mc4 directly, the Smartsolar Control scc900600010 display is available for retrofit. The display allows easy controller configuration via key input and also provides all important performance data at a glance.
VE.Direct in text mode transmits all important parameters to other devices connected to the charge controller every second, providing the ability to communicate with additional gx Color Control panel devices. The VE.Direct connection is intended for products where full Canbus integration (VE-Direct) would be too expensive. More information about VE.Direct can be found in our store VictronEnergy.
