Blue Power IP22 Battery Charger: Highest Performance Ever! With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers produce up to four times less heat compared to industry standards. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0,5 watts, about five to ten times better than the industry standard. NIGHT and LOW setting When in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to the maximum. 25% of the rated output and the charger will be completely silent. The NIGHT function terminates automatically after 8 hours. The LOW function can be terminated manually.
The charger has Blue Power IP22 high performance
With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers produce up to four times less heat compared to industry standards. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0,5 watts, about five to ten times better than the industry standard.
6-stage adaptive charging algorithm: test - volume - absorption - repair - float - storage
The Blue Smart Charger has a "customizable" microprocessor-controlled battery management. The adaptive function will automatically optimize the charging process in relation to how the battery is used.
Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use
The storage function is activated each time the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2,2 V / cell (13,2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gas release and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage rises again to the level of absorption to "balance" the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, a major cause of premature battery failure.
It also charges Li-ion batteries (LiFePO4).
LiFePO4 batteries are charged with a simple volume-absorption-float algorithm.
