The new series however has a new casing, new electronics and new software. The units consist of a steel frame with a plastic cover, while the electronic management of the inverters provides improved dynamic output voltage stability. Last but not least is the range of communication options and feature customization that Victron offers using the softwareVE.Direct.
The door communication VE.Direct can be connected to:

Proven reliability:
The complete bridge and toroidal transformer topology have proven their reliability for many years. Inverters are protected against short circuits and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High starting power
Required to start loads, such as power converters for LED bulbs, halogen bulbs or power tools.
ECO function:
During ECO operation, the inverter will enter standby mode when the load drops below a preset value. In standby mode, the inverter will light up for a short time (adjustable, with a default of 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a predetermined level, the inverter will remain open.
Remote On / Off:
Possibility of remote control of the operation with the installation of a suitable switch.
