Enersys batteries of the PowerSafe TS series are manufactured in a state-of-the-art Greek factory manufacturing top batteries.

The OPzS series of batteries is mainly intended for use in standby power supply in applications such as telecommunications, substations, hospitals, etc. The PowerSafe TS series (TS = Tubular Solar) for the use of main energy storage in Photovoltaic and other Renewable Renewable Energy Systems ), in which there is no power grid (PPC) and the battery operates in daily discharge-charge "cycles".

Both series are made according to the same general technical-top characteristics: Tubular positive plates, transparent plastic container, electrolyte in liquid form. The dimensions of the elements are exactly the same and according to the standard DIN 40736-1.

The main difference between the two types is not visual and mainly concerns the plate alloys: The PowerSafe TS types use a special lead alloy for the construction of the plates, which ensures additional resistance to discharge-load "cycles", as this is the main use of the application (Renewable Energy Sources).
